#7 The Eccentrics' Mind

Assalamualaikum (May peace be upon you)

Post 7: An exciting day

Hulo there! Today there's been alot of things going on.
First of all, a friend of mine , I will refer her as Snow white (Snow sometimes okay, I-am-too-lazy)
well she told me she finished watching Shingeki No Kyojin / Attack On Titan / AoT or SnK.
I  first recommended the series to her around February this year (speaking of which , today marks 2 month since I recommended it to her).
These are the animes I recommended to her last year
-Zankyou No Terror (An obsession of mine for a short time)
-Yumeiro Patissiere (All time fav!)
-Wake Up Girls
-Ouran High Host Club
-Love Live! School Idol Festival

But she didn't watch any of them ( I thinkk) except for Ouran High *laughs*, which marks the how-many-times failure in making my friend to watch animes / what I watch and the evidence on how annoying I can be.Unfortunately , she didn't complete Ouran either.
Then one day , while sitting on the foyer of our school and with all the things -we came  to school for- done, I was browsing my ipad's gallery which was full with my snk pictures colle (Mostly from pixiv , doujins and stuffs). Then I don't remember the detail but I think I showed a picture to her.. or was it her saying a character look cool? Well either way it was a snk's pic.

BTw Snow is one of my friend I share songs with especially OOR songs and some anime songs and she would also recommend some k-pop songs (mostly exo). I actually wanted to share snk with her last year along with the other animes(Oh am I glad I didn't do that ) but I was worried if she could cope with the violence *laughs* ( I am sorry ~).

So anyway, continuing on the school part. I started telling her of what kind anime snk is.
I told her it's filled with action and that maybe she would like it. Sometimes I stopped talking about it then I would continue and stop and continue until our parents picked us up.
Later that afternoon , I shared with her three different trailers *talk about being a nuisance* and she said she would watch it.

I did not disturb her for a few weeks and suddenly she texted me to ask about snk. Then that day I found out she watched them in the wrong orders *laughs* . Yes, series can be confusing especially ones that have movies and OVAs and she did watched the OVAs first . And those OVAs got her attention and interest quickly.
Moreover she met Levi (in the series) earlier than the rest of us did ahaha and she said that he looked cool (You got it right).

And so, after that I would from times to times asked her which episode she was watching at the moment. And finally she finished ^^
Yayy!!

Success.

So right now I am bugging her with alot of questions. Never mind if I was ignored . Just an excitement on my part.
I hope she would read the comic because there are lots to discuss *.*
For reasons I couldn't tell, when I watched snk last year I wasn't that surprised by the people's deaths and stuffs . Maybe because I read the manga first but even so.. I wasn't surprise reading it either. Now, entering the fandom I am enthusiastically anticipating manga updates and pray in my heart that no one important will meet their grave soon. (T.T) Yesh , I feel much more emotions when I read the manga now than I did last year which is , a good thing. It meant that the manga (or just me) is well written and there are soo many good character's development.

Aaaah why I am going out of topic rn?

Anyway, today I chatted with my friends. Yes, my lovely friends in our  group. we reintroduced ourselves. I knew alot more about them today. It was random but it was worth it ^^
I miss them alot.

Then one of my Friend , Sleeping Princess, what should I call her in short? Pikachu then.
Well, she stated she just watched snk earlier. That caught my eyes . Well we fangirl for abit. Me, at least. I can't wait for her to finish watching, there would be more to spaz to.

I also watched episode 3 of Arslan Senki (Also known as The Heroic Legend Of Arslan). It is an anime adaptation from a manga of the same name with Arakawa Hiromu (known for Fullmetal Alchemist , and when I first saw the promotional trailer I automatically thought of him). The manga is an adaptation of a novel written by Tanaka Toshiki !! I heard it was well-written.

Well, it tell a story about a young boy prince (again this caught my interest) of a kingdom called Pars. On autumn days, war befall them . Escaping the destruction of his kingdom, he went on a journey and begins to assemble a group of five (which consist of various people from priestess, artist to his attendant) to aid him fight against the invaders. Together, they must build an army and defeat 300,000 trained soldiers—including the mysterious Lord Silver Mask—who has also laid claim to the throne of Pars. (Parts of Summary taken from: MyAnimeList ).

When I watched the first episode I find the environment interesting. Yes I found out that Pars is a name of one of the province in Iran so the environment somehow fits. The character design really do reminded me of FMA. The first episode serves as an introduction of the ruling system and the status of their country and also the personality of young prince Arslan whom started as a weak character (and I am expecting more from him as the story grows).
Another thing that caught me was the Ending song. Sang by Eir Aoi , the song called Lapiz Lazuli reminded me of animes from like, ten years back. It gave me a nostalgic feeling for unknown reason . I am anticipating for the single's release.
Watching episode 2 , the opening song(since episode 1 didn't feature it) caught me next. "Boku no Kotoba dewa nai korewa bokutachi no kotoba" sung by Uverworld is a song that made me bang *laughs* my head in rhythm .The lyrics was interesting. The song title meant "This is our words not mine" . I am listening to it alot of times .
Both episode 3 and 2 covered the war part and the characters involved in it. I personally felt that it was quite long for two episodes to cover that arch but it was necessary I guess. I will wait for the next episode and until the end, ep 12 and by then will write a complete review (be reminded this is just a review based on the first three aired episodes). Hopefully it would live up to my expectations (*w*) and be able to fit the rest of the events /archs into the remaining episodes without rushing.

Next thing I wanted to talk about is Denpa Kyoushi. Denpa Kyoushi which meant "He Is An Ultimate Teacher!" caught my interest last year mainly because I have never read any mangas that involve teaching as the main subject and because I AM interested in that subject.
Unfortunately I dropped the work because I was forced to make a very hard decision to pick which mangas I really really want to keep on my Firefox's tabs (there were too many of them and I didn't want to slow down the browser nor did I like bookmarking mangas mainly because there are too many of them already).
Once the anime was released ,  I was happy to be reunited with it again. The first thing that caught me when I watched it were the seiyuus. Apparently , Hiroshi Kamiya (seiyuus of Levi/snk and Yato/noragami) voiced Junichiro Kagami the MC . That, honestly, excites me *laughs*. Then , the imouto , Suzune was voiced by a fresh/new seiyuu. I like her voice , it was different from what I expected it to be. Though to be honest there is something odd with it. Like it's off-personality or something . I do like her voice , honestly, and I look forward to her next role.
Just like I said , her voice kept me stay because there's like an edge to her voice. Maybe I would get used to it or she could adjust it as the story progress.
I really like the ED song of this series . It is called Dreamin' by Tokyo Performance Doll.
The story so far is just like how the manga progress though they did skipped some scenes though not very important.
I would continue and stay put for now.
Anime producers Fight! (hahah what? )Anticipating for some summer animes.

Well then,
Aniyuuki

Quote of the day:
My mom told me, it's better to trust people than to doubt them. She said that people aren't born with kind hearts. When we're born, all we have are desires for food and material things. Selfish instincts, I guess. But she said that kindness is something that grows inside of each person's body, but it's up to us to nurture that kindness in our hearts. That's why kindness is different for every person.. - Honda Tohru , Fruit Basket
